Wasgij Retro Mystery 19 — Bingo Blunder! 1,000-Piece Jigsaw Puzzle
Product description
This product is a 1,000-piece Wasgij Mystery jigsaw puzzle. Inside the box you’ll find the full set of die-cut pieces needed to assemble the completed image — no extra guides are included, as the fun lies in working out the scene for yourself.
Wasgij Mystery puzzles flip the usual idea of a jigsaw: instead of recreating the picture on the box, you use that image as a clue to build the next moment in the story. This edition, titled Bingo Blunder!, features artwork by Dick Heins, whose lively illustrations set up the scenario you must resolve.
When assembled the finished puzzle measures approximately 27 x 19 inches. The pieces are manufactured from quality recycled board and printed with clear, fade-resistant inks. The puzzle is suitable for adults and experienced hobbyists who enjoy imaginative, narrative-driven challenges.
Pros
- Inventive 'what happens next?' premise
- Attractive art by Dick Heins
- Durable recycled board pieces
Cons
- Box image is not the final picture
- Can be tougher than standard puzzles
- No reference image of the completed scene
VerdictEntertaining and original: a well-made 1,000-piece mystery puzzle that rewards imagination. The quirky illustration and clever concept make it an enjoyable challenge for puzzle fans who like an extra twist at the end.

Great first Wasgij
This was my introduction to a Wasgij puzzle and I had a blast. Working out the hidden outcome and watching the final picture emerge was hilarious. The illustration is cleverly constructed and I’ll definitely collect more of these.

Truly challenging
I gave this to a friend who normally races through 1,000-piece puzzles; this one took him nearly two weeks. The box picture doesn’t match the finished image, which makes it extra demanding.
