Built to block animals that hunt or disturb pond life, the anti-tear netting forms a barrier against herons, kingfishers, egrets, raccoons, frogs and neighborhood cats. It’s also useful for shielding plants, small trees, bushes, hen runs or strawberry patches from birds and opportunistic critters.
Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the heavy-duty mesh resists UV damage, strong winds and cold weather. Multiple reinforced strands keep the weave intact so it won’t easily tear, twist or tangle after repeated use. The material stretches enough to drape over irregular shapes while staying sturdy under tension.
No special tools are required for setup: simply spread the net over the pond, secure it to the ground using the supplied pegs, or fasten it to a frame with the included zip ties. The cover ships rolled for easy handling and can be trimmed to fit nonstandard ponds. Package contents: 1 pond net (7 x 10 ft), 12 ground pegs, 20 zip ties.
