Too springy for dining use
Not useful for eating from the shell — the springs wobble and collapse as you spoon, so the egg can roll out. I prefer rigid wire holders for steady support.

Arrived corroded twice
First set had obvious rust and chipping; replacement showed the same flaws. Ended up spray-painting them to cover corrosion. Finish seems poor.

A bit taller than expected
Could these be compressed to reduce height? They feel taller than classic holders where half the egg sits outside the pocket.

Came quickly and as described. Construction is great and dishwasher-safe. Local eggs can sit a bit low, but a small tweak fixed that.
