HyperX Cloud III Wired Gaming Headset — Angled 53mm Drivers
Product description
Comfort engineered for long play: The Cloud III centers comfort in its design with signature HyperX memory foam in both the headband and ear cushions to reduce pressure and hotspots during extended sessions.
Audio built for gaming and media: The headset uses angled 53mm drivers that HyperX audio engineers have retuned to emphasize in-game cues and cinematic detail. Spatial audio is supported through the wired USB connection on platforms that enable it, improving directionality for footsteps and explosions.
Upgraded voice capture and practical controls: An improved 10mm detachable microphone includes noise reduction and a mesh filter to minimize distracting sounds. A visible LED on the mic indicates mute status. Basic controls for volume and microphone mute live on the earcup for quick adjustments.
Sturdy yet travel-ready construction: A flexible design with an aluminum frame gives the headset lasting resilience against daily use, travel and accidental drops while keeping weight reasonable for long wear.
Included items and connections: The package includes the headset and detachable microphone, and supports wired connections via USB-C, USB-A and a 3.5mm analog connection so it works with PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Mac and mobile devices. Plug-and-play setup makes it simple to start gaming, streaming or taking calls right away.

Comfortable, no battery fuss, solid build
Replaced another uncomfortable model with these and the difference is immediate. No charging required, comfortable fit, and sturdy metal components where it matters. Needed to raise PS5 volume settings to get the best level. They can feel warm after an hour or two.

A longtime fan — excellent sound and comfort
I’ve used HyperX gear for years and the sound quality is consistently great. The Cloud III is extremely comfortable for long wear and I even use it for work calls. The mic and speakers are top-notch, and the soft padding avoids the usual head pressure. Noise reduction is effective and the multiple plug options (3.5mm, USB-C, USB-A) make it versatile.

Finally found the right pair
Tried many brands and replacements before these. From the first wear the fit and sound were exactly what I wanted. They’ve held up to drops and rough use and still perform well. Bought additional sets for family without hesitation.

Solid headset; miss the inline remote
Comfortable with good sound. My only gripe is the switch from an inline cable controller to on-headset controls—I preferred the old inline remote.

Most comfortable headset I’ve tried
Used across PC, PS5 and Xbox, the foam padding is exceptional—no clamping or hot spots even after several hours. The angled 53mm drivers deliver precise sound and the USB connection enables solid spatial audio on PC. Mic quality improved my in-game voice clarity, and the LED mute is handy.

Satisfied with sound, fit and style
Bought during a sale. I’m pleased with the fit, audio quality and overall look. Previously used a different brand that broke, but I’ll stick with this one going forward.

Two years of dependable comfort
After two years of heavy use—moves, drops and daily practice—the headset was still my favorite for comfort. It finally failed after about two years, but I’ll likely buy another because nothing else matched the fit and feel.

Comfortable, reliable features I use daily
Solid all-around headset for the cost. Multiple connection options made setup painless. The mic mute LED is a simple but very useful feature—always know when you’re muted. Comfortable enough for long play and the audio exceeded my expectations.

Balanced sound with standout comfort
This headset is a noticeable upgrade: clear, balanced audio that doesn’t drown out in-game detail, plus plush memory-foam that keeps sessions comfortable. The build feels solid, the detachable mic is convenient, and setup is simple—plug in and go on PC and consoles.

Outstanding value for what you get
Great value and pleasantly robust build. Hard to find better at this level.

Good budget pick with some compromises
Overall a good value. Microphone and audio performance are acceptable but not elite, while weight and comfort score high. Spatial audio works but isn’t a game changer. Comfortable for a few-hour sessions; expect trade-offs compared with higher-priced headsets.
