Stainless Steel Metal Zip Tie Kit with Tensioning Gun — 300-Pack
Product description
What you get: a metal cable tie kit that supplies everything needed to fasten, tighten and trim stainless-steel ties. The set contains a tensioning and cutting gun, 300 304-grade metal zip ties (150 of 7.8 inches / 200 mm and 150 of 11.8 inches / 300 mm), a zip-tie organizer with a carabiner-style clip, a pair of cutting scissors suited for metal, two pairs of non-slip work gloves, a soft storage bag and a user guide.
Materials and performance: the ties are made from 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and outdoor durability. Rated for roughly 200 lb tensile strength, they outperform typical nylon ties and tolerate a broad temperature range — suitable for extremes of cold and heat and resistant to UV and weathering.
How it’s used: feed the free end of the metal tie through its head just as with a plastic tie, pull the tail tight by hand, then place the excess into the tool’s feed slot. Squeeze the ergonomic gun to tension the tie to the desired tightness; the mechanism both draws the tie taut and trims the protruding tail cleanly. The organizer clips to belts or bags so ties are handy on the job. Typical applications include chain-link fence repairs, chicken coops, plant supports, cable routing, exhaust clamps and other situations where a secure, permanent fastening is required.
Practical tips: allow a couple of inches of tail for the gun to grab and avoid cutting too close to the locking head on the first pass; the cutters leave a sharp edge, so use the scissors or nip the point to smooth it if needed. For very large bundles, consider combining lengths or using longer ties for additional circumference.
Pros
- Durable 304 stainless steel resists corrosion and UV
- Tensioning gun tightens and trims in one motion
- Complete kit with organizer, gloves, cutters and bag
Cons
- Ties consume length when looped; may be short for very large diameters
- Cut ends can be sharp and may need nipping
- No extra-long ties included for oversized bundles
VerdictA well-rounded kit for demanding fastening jobs where plastic ties fail. The 304 stainless ties offer high tensile strength and wide temperature tolerance, and the ergonomic tensioning tool tightens and trims in one motion to save hand strain. Accessories like the dispenser, gloves, cutters and storage bag make this a practical all-in-one pack for fencing, coops, automotive uses and outdoor repair

Made garden enclosure work effortless — saved my fingers
We used this kit to secure our garden enclosure and it made the job much easier. The stainless ties are far more substantial than plastic; the tensioning tool prevented finger fatigue and trimmed cleanly, leaving a tidy installation. With two lengths included we still have plenty left for future repairs and trips.

Complete fastening set that’s easy to operate
This adjustable stainless kit makes securing fencing and outdoor fixtures straightforward. The pack includes the gun, 150 of each length (7.8" and 11.8"), a dispenser, cutters, gloves, bag and manual. Feed the tie, tension with the gun and lift the cutter to remove the surplus. They’re far more durable than plastic ties in extreme seasons.

Wish I’d known about metal ties sooner
I never knew metal zip ties existed until trying this set — they hold so much better than plastic. I used them around the house, on my vehicle and in the garage. Once I learned the tool, tightening and trimming became quick and neater. Build quality and longevity seem excellent; they feel like permanent solutions for many jobs.

Solid tool and tight fastenings, but lengths eat up usable circumference
The gun is well built and the ties pull very tight for secure connections. Note that part of each tie is lost to the loop and tensioning, so usable circumference is smaller than the stated length; longer ties would improve versatility for bigger bundles. Overall effective and reliable.

Surprisingly strong and the gun pulls them very tight
These stainless ties gripped better than I expected. The tensioner lets you cinch them down much tighter than by hand, but you need a couple inches of tail for the gun to grab. The cutter is sharp — be careful because the trimmed ends can be pointy. They worked great securing kennel panels and trellis sections; I had used loose ties before but the gun really improves the finish and strength.

Essential tool for farm and yard repairs
I’ve reached for this kit repeatedly for fence repairs, a rabbit hutch and reattaching a solar charger. The two tie lengths are useful for different jobs and the spring-assisted gun opens easily, making many quick fastenings simple. The tool felt solid and didn’t tire my hand even with lots of work. Cut-off blade was sharp and clean.

Everything included — excellent value and quality
After years of plastic ties failing in heat, this stainless kit delivered exactly what I needed. The box contains 150 of each length, a fastening tool that speeds work, cutters, two pairs of gloves, a dispenser and a bag. Materials feel high quality and the ties lock tight and last.
