Physical controls and gyroscope gestures — The device provides dedicated page-turn buttons and supports shake-to-turn page gestures via an onboard gyroscope, enabling reliable one-handed operation without a touchscreen.

Solid and straightforward
First e-ink device for me and I’m very pleased. Easy to operate, excellent battery life and delivers exactly what it promises. Good value for a basic reader.

Serious design fault caused breakage
Warning: my SD card slipped past the slot and into the case; trying to retrieve it shattered the rear glass. The gap around the card slot is too large and allows media to fall into the chassis. Mine was ruined on day one due to this build issue. Be cautious inserting cards.

Handy size, magnetic feature works well

Tiny device, big impact on my reading habits
It’s small and super portable — I take it everywhere and pull it out for quick reading moments. The non-touch interface prevents accidental page turns, which I appreciate. A backlight would make it perfect, but as-is it’s encouraged me to read more and spend less time on social apps.

Great travel companion, wish it had a light
Perfect for getting away from my phone — tiny, durable battery and plenty of storage once you update the software. I’d use it on long hikes and trips. My only complaints: there’s no backlight for night reading, and current case choices don’t feel rugged enough for clumsy hands. Would love more clip-on protective options.

Simple reading, requires a bit of setup
I appreciate how this device removes distractions — no notifications or ads. I transferred my existing library and installed updated firmware to get the experience I wanted (back up the stock firmware first). It's simple in use but not plug-and-play: plan to use tools like Calibre and read some documentation before customizing. With that prep it's a clean, focused reader with only a few buttons and no touchscreen.

Perfectly sized screen protector from the maker
Happy to see XTEINK offering its own screen protectors. The matte film hasn’t softened the clarity of e-ink text noticeably and adheres well. It fits very close to the edges, so work in a dust-free area and take your time lining it up. Clean hands and careful placement made installation go smoothly.
