Battery compatibility: This jig saw accepts DeWalt/compatible 20V lithium-ion battery packs, including models DCB200, DCB201, DCB203, DCB204, DCB205 and DCB206. Install the battery in the rear slot until it locks for operation.
Drive and speed: Powered by a 20V brushless motor with thermal and low-voltage protection, the tool provides variable speeds up to 3,200 RPM. The motor’s protections help prevent overheating and extend runtime by managing current draw under load.
Visibility and dust control: A front LED illuminates the cut line for darker workspaces. The shoe includes a dust-blowing port and accepts a vacuum adapter to keep the kerf clear of debris for more accurate cuts.
Cutting angles and modes: The adjustable base plate tilts left and right for ±45° bevel cuts. The saw offers three orbital settings plus selectable track modes to match material type and whether you’re cutting straight, curved or angled profiles.
Blades and changes: The package includes seven specialty blades for wood, PVC, metal and aluminum. A tool-free blade-release system allows swapping blades in about five seconds, making it easy for beginners and pros to change cutting styles quickly.
