Solid build, simple setup — bought another one
I bought a two-pack earlier to keep my granddaughter safe around the stairs. It arrived intact, went together easily using the illustrated steps, and has been reliable. The door stays open at 90° for hands-free carrying but closes on its own otherwise, and the metal and finish feel like they'll last. Liked it enough to get a third for my own home.

Very reliable — we now have three
We’ve tried many gates and these are the most stable and straightforward to install. Instructions plus an online video make it easy; they even include an extra zip tie for alignment. My only small gripe is there could be more wall cushions provided. Tension mounting holds even larger puppies well.

Sturdy, easy latch — ordered more

Best value and functionality
This gate offers a lot of useful features for the price. The removable extension pieces let it fit many openings and it held tightly after installation. It swings both ways and stays at 90° for easy entry. Setup was fast with clear instructions. Would have bought this first if I’d known.

Great gate but watch measurement gaps
The gate performed well for my wide opening, but the adjustment scheme has set ranges with a small gap between options. If your exact width falls in that gap it can be tricky. Also, quarter-round baseboards require spacers or small blocks so the hardware sits flat. It worked for me after a little modification.

Thoughtful installation features
Installation is impressive — the parts that help you align and lock into place make it straightforward. A red temporary tie keeps spacing, and once tightened a small metal tab drops to show correct fit. It’s slimmer-looking than older gates and opens smoothly with one hand.

Replaced old wood gates — much better
I swapped two worn wooden pressure gates for this metal model to contain a large active dog and visiting toddler. The unit felt well-built out of the box and was straightforward to assemble. One extension sat high over our baseboard, so I used the smaller piece and tightened the knobs; it held firmly under pressure.
