Multi‑Species Milk Replacer Powder — 3.5 lb Complete Nutrition
Product description
This multi‑species milk replacer comes as a 3.5 lb powdered bag intended for young animals that need a complete, balanced liquid diet. The formula supplies 24% protein and 24% fat, with all‑milk protein as the primary source of amino acids and energy. Included probiotics marketed as Opti‑Gut are blended into the powder to help promote intestinal balance and better nutrient absorption during the critical early development period.
The product is labeled for use with up to nine young animal types — puppies, kittens, calves, lambs, goat kids, foals, piglets, llamas and crias — making it a flexible option for mixed‑species households, farms or rescue operations. It is designed to be dissolved with water for bottle or tube feeding and can also be mixed into softened feed for transitioning animals.
Preparation is straightforward: the powder is formulated to disperse quickly for timely feedings. Because it’s a dry mix, it’s convenient for keeping on hand; once opened, many people transfer the bag contents into a sealed container to maintain freshness. The manufacturer emphasizes gut health as a cornerstone of early nutrition and developed the probiotic blend to support digestion, growth and overall wellbeing during the first stages of life.

My calves thrive on this
This is the only replacer I use for bottle‑fed calves. They accept it well, develop shiny coats and maintain steady growth. It performs exactly as needed.

Quality product, weak bag seal
The powder itself is great and keeps well, but the zipper on the bag doesn’t seal reliably. I transferred it into an airtight container. Overall the formula is solid, packaging needs improvement.

Handy backup for newborns
Mixes quickly and is reliable when supplemental feedings are necessary. The multi‑species blend makes it useful for different animals, and it stays fresh when kept properly. I keep a bag with my animal care supplies for emergencies.

High‑quality replacer — my bottle calf has done very well on it.

Kittens obsessed with it
I swapped this 3.5 lb multi‑species powder for a pricier kitten formula and it worked wonderfully. The kittens devoured it and even after being weaned they still beg for it as an occasional treat. The bag lasts a long time and supports healthy growth.

Rescued kittens adore it
Excellent value and the neonates I took in at about a week old loved it. The feeding chart on the bag makes prep easy. I do keep the opened powder in a container because the bag seal is tricky.

Smooth transition for puppies
My puppies ate this at every meal and then we mixed it into softened kibble during transition. No stomach troubles; if stools were loose I simply reduced meal size and spread feedings out more.
