High-Calcium Cement Parrot Perch — Rough-Surface Bird Perch
Product description
This parrot perch is made from natural, high-calcium cement with a deliberately rough texture to give birds a stimulating standing surface. The abrasive finish allows birds to naturally file their beaks and claws, exercise their feet, and indulge chewing instincts.
Each perch ships with the hardware needed for installation: a threaded bolt and a wing nut (plus a washer) so you can secure the perch to cage bars quickly. The cement construction is formulated to be non-toxic and long-lasting, intended for repeated use and gentle gnawing.
The perches are offered in two playful silhouettes — a coral-style shape and a shell-style shape — and come in several eye-catching colors to attract attention. They’re compact enough to fit inside many cages but provide varied angles and grooves for foot placement.
Use the perch as a standing spot, a location near feeding or watering areas, or as a nail/beak maintenance aid. It can be mounted inside the cage, placed near food stations, or positioned on top of the cage. Wipeable surfaces make routine cleaning simple, and the design is flexible to adapt to different cage layouts and bird preferences.
While tough enough for everyday use by small and medium parrots, very large birds may be too heavy or may damage the perch over time. The cement’s density and finish give it both weight and texture, delivering the intended trimming and enrichment benefits.

Worked for my macaw’s scissor beak
Replaced the old perch and this one helped my mini macaw grind her scissor beak down. It’s effective for correcting overgrowth.

It arrived and cracked shortly after being mounted. Fell apart when installed.

Good structure, not for very large birds
Not suitable for a big bird, but well made and sturdy. Curves offer different grips, though they don’t file nails evenly. Best used to provide varied footing and enrichment rather than uniform nail wear.

My baby adjusted and now loves it
Added this to give my bird a tougher surface. It took some getting used to, but now she lands on it often. Firmer than wooden perches and seems to slow nail sharpness. Installs securely and doesn’t interfere with other cage items. Simple and effective.

Solid daily perch that helps with nail wear
Bought this a few days ago and my bird uses it regularly. The texture is rougher than wood but he doesn’t mind. It seems to be slowly reducing nail length. Installation was straightforward and it’s stayed put. Shell shape looks nice and doesn’t take up much space.

Budgies prefer this over cuttlefish
My budgie flock took to this quicker than the usual cuttlebone. They land on it after a few days and nibble off bits as needed.

Sturdy and great for feeding stations
Well built with solid hardware. Great surface for wiping beaks and standing while eating. I’ll buy another for a second feeding area.

Effective but mounting could be improved
Good for wearing beaks and talons, and calcium is a plus. Sized for medium parrots, not large ones. The washers are small so getting a secure fit across two bars is tricky, which makes stability an issue.
