What’s included
This pack contains seventy single-use plastic vials. Each unit holds 0.01 fluid ounces (0.4 mL) of lubricating solution intended for single application and immediate disposal after use.
Formula and ingredients
Active ingredient: Carboxymethylcellulose sodium (CMC) 0.5% — a lubricating polymer that helps retain moisture on the eye’s surface.
Inactive ingredients: calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, potassium chloride, purified water, sodium chloride, sodium lactate, and pH adjusters such as hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide as needed.
Intended use and benefits
This preservative-free artificial tear provides fast hydration and relief from mild dryness, burning, irritation, and general ocular discomfort. Because there are no preservatives, the vials are appropriate for frequent dosing and for people with sensitive eyes.
Directions for use
To open a vial, bend the tab back and forth and pull it free, exposing the tip. Instill one or two drops into the affected eye(s) as needed. Do not touch the tip to any surface or the eye itself. After using, discard the empty vial — do not save or re-use.
Post-operative guidance
These drops may be used after procedures such as LASIK when recommended by your eye care professional. Follow any post-surgical instructions provided by your doctor before using this product.
Safety and storage
For external use only. Use the solution only if the single-use container is intact. Do not use if the liquid becomes discolored or cloudy. Avoid contaminating the tip by touching it to your eye or other surfaces. If you experience eye pain, changes in vision, persistent redness or irritation, or if symptoms worsen or continue beyond 72 hours, stop use and consult a physician. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, obtain medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
