78" Wide 100% Linen Fabric by the Yard — Natural Breathable Cloth
Product description
100% natural linen: This fabric is woven from pure linen fibers without added synthetic blends, offering a durable, chemical-free textile suitable for apparel and home items. The material is breathable and naturally strong, providing reassurance for long-term crafting and wear.
Multiple creative uses: The cloth’s compact weave resists pilling and keeps colors vivid, making it a good substrate for garments, tote bags, patchwork, upholstery accents, curtains, and creative art pieces. Lighter tones, such as dusty pink, take dyes, prints, and embroidery particularly well, so it’s an excellent foundation for custom finishing.
Size and color options: A standard unit is approximately 2 yards by 78 inches (about 78" wide x 72" long) with a weight near 21.2 ounces per 2-yard piece. There are 13 colorways available to suit different projects. If you order more than one unit, each will be supplied as its own 2-yard x 78" cut rather than joined into a continuous bolt.
Cutting and sewing: The fabric trims cleanly and resists heavy fraying, so it’s friendly for both hand and machine stitching. Pre-washing is advised to reduce shrinkage; wet ironing can restore or create crisper drape and finish. The textile stands up to machine washing and can be reused after care.
Great for gifting and group projects: This linen is a thoughtful present for makers and a useful choice for crafting together—sew garments, bags, and home accents or experiment with surface design techniques to bring DIY ideas to life.

Smooth, economical linen to sew
Great value with fewer slubs than pricier linens and a smooth hand. Edges arrive serged so you can launder it right away; the tag is easy to remove. Works well for historical sewing at this price point.

Perfect weight for unlined summer tops
Exactly the lightweight feel I needed for a sleeveless summer blouse. The neutral color has natural flecks that give it an upscale look. I’ll share a photo when the garments are finished.

Good lightweight option for tops
Feels and wrinkles like real linen and is fine for shirts or light dresses. It’s slightly sheer and has a looser weave, so not suitable for structured bottoms or heavy-use items. Excellent quantity for the cost.

Serged edges on all sides
Lovely fabric but it arrived with serged edges all around, which made me question if it was yardage or repurposed. I plan to wash it before cutting to see how it behaves.

True lightweight linen, sheer until washed
This is a very light linen, similar to handkerchief weight and quite translucent in pale shades. It softens and becomes a bit less see-through after a wash. Loved the color range and wide width; I’ll buy more.

Beautiful colors and good hand
Lovely linen in attractive shades. It sewed up easily for garden aprons and washed exactly as expected. Wish cuts could be purchased in custom lengths, but the fabric itself is excellent.
