CRAFTSMAN Folding Metal Sawhorse (CMST11154)
Product description
This listing includes (1) CMST11154 Metal Sawhorse. The main frame is metal and the feet are fitted with anti-slip rubber pads to improve grip while cutting or working on materials. A continuous top bar allows direct clamping of workpieces for a variety of tasks.
The legs fold inward for rapid deployment and compact storage; when collapsed the units become narrow and easy to carry. Built-in side latches enable two single sawhorses to clip together for transporting as a pair and for space-saving storage.
Designed for portability without sacrificing stability, two of these sawhorses used together provide a combined load capacity of up to 1,000 lbs. They are intended for light- to medium-duty jobs where quick setup, movement, and a rigid work surface are important.
Pros
- Folds for compact storage and transport
- Anti-slip rubber pads for safer cutting
- Upper metal bar accepts clamps
Cons
- Not intended for heavy daily job-site abuse
- Top may need sacrificial wood for repeated cutting
- Leg spread is not very wide for large sheets
VerdictA solid, lightweight folding metal sawhorse that serves well for light-to-medium jobs. It includes one CMST11154 unit, locks together with another for carrying, and offers anti-slip pads and an upper bar for clamping. As a pair these hold up to 1,000 pounds, making them a practical choice for homeowners and contractors needing portable support.

Exactly what I was looking for
Perfect for folding away when not in use, stronger than they look and fold up neatly. Good overall value and very practical.

Solid and easy to transport
Good product — very sturdy and quick to set up. I like that they fold flat so they don’t take up the whole truck bed.

Very good for working and moving around
They’re excellent for projects and easy to transport. I bought them during a great sale and have been happy with their performance.

Pleased with these sawhorses
A much better option than the flimsy plastic ones that crack. These are lightweight, inexpensive, and simple to open and fold. They handle plywood and lumber well for sawing and sanding. Very portable and straightforward to use — I'll get another pair to expand my workspace.

Arrived damaged
Sturdy product, but one unit arrived broken. It was meant as a gift so I couldn't pass it on in that condition.

Handy and clip together for carrying
They perform well, though the leg spread isn't very wide so they can tip with large sheets unless braced. They clip together for carrying and are quite robust for their size. Very convenient for occasional work.

Great little work supports
Needed compact sawhorses for limited space and they make a nice temporary table. Legs deploy easily; the locking buttons were a bit stiff at first but loosened with use. Sturdy enough to hold my miter saw and packs away without taking much room.

Simple, useful, get a pair
Basic sawhorse that works well for light to medium tasks. Folds compactly like a tripod for easy storage in a car or van. The build quality is solid for the cost and two make a good small platform.

Works great for my outdoor targets
I set one up to hang cans for shooting practice and it performs very well. It sets up and collapses in seconds and is easy to carry because it’s light. Feels solid and versatile for many tasks. Extremely handy and affordable for how useful it is.

Handles heavy loads and packs small
I doubted the 1,000 lb claim per pair, but after placing 400–500 lb they held up without warping or breaking. They do sway a bit if bumped while loaded, but fold down very compactly and clip together for storage.

Lightweight, decent for occasional jobs
I've used many sawhorses in 40 years of construction. These are mostly steel and feel well made for homeowner or periodic contractor use. Not suited for heavy daily use on a busy site, but they beat plastic options. Shorter height and length mean you may want to add sacrificial wood to the top.

Uncomplicated and robust
Lightweight yet feels durable. Simple design makes them easy to handle and a good value for typical tasks.

Surprisingly useful compared to larger rigs
I'm a licensed subcontractor and compared these to larger folding sawhorses I own. I needed something lighter and faster for short jobs and these fit the bill. They're strong for their weight, set up and break down in a snap, and two of them fit neatly in a small box in my truck. Not a replacement for heavy daily-duty equipment, but excellent for quick jobs.
