This product is supplied as a single 18ml sealed pot of Citadel Contrast paint. The formula is an acrylic, pigment-rich mix engineered to deposit both base color and built-in shading in one application when laid over a pale Contrast undercoat or light primer. The pot contains a suspension medium that helps pigments flow into recesses while leaving raised areas brighter.
Contrast paints are intended to be applied thinly with a brush across a primed miniature to achieve a vivid base tone and natural depth without multiple layering passes. You can thin or modify the effect by mixing with acrylic medium, inks, or flow improver, and the paint responds well to careful layering and glazing techniques. For best outcomes, use a light neutral primer or zenithal highlight; over dark primers the contrast behavior is less predictable.
Storage: reseal the pot after use and store upright in a cool place. Compatibility: works with other acrylic hobby paints and most model finishes once fully cured. The pot size and lid are designed for steady dispensing and easy re-sealing.
