2-Pack Snap-On LED GuideLight Outlet Cover for Duplex Receptacles

Product description

WHAT YOU GET - This package contains two LED-equipped cover plates designed for standard single-gang duplex electrical outlets. Each unit replaces the conventional outlet faceplate and supplies a low-profile light without occupying the plug space.

BUILT FROM DURABLE MATERIALS - The covers are molded from flame-retardant ABS plastic with a polycarbonate diffuser over an integrated LED array and a small photocell. Components are sized to fit standard U.S./Canadian duplex openings and resist everyday wear.

DIMENSIONS & POWER - Each cover measures approximately 4.5 inches tall by 2.75 inches wide to align with typical single-gang outlets. The LEDs draw minimal power for continuous readiness and a long service life without batteries or extra wiring.

SIMPLE INSTALLATION - No electrician, brackets, batteries, or external hardware are required. Remove your existing outlet cover, verify the outlet uses side-mounted screws, and snap the new plate into place. The unit uses the outlet’s existing wiring to power the LED while preserving both plug-in receptacles.

AUTOMATIC LIGHTING - An integrated dusk-to-dawn photocell turns the LEDs on when ambient light drops and off during daylight. The gentle glow guides movement at night without creating glare and frees up the outlet space typically lost to plug-in night lights.

Pros

  • Keeps both outlets usable
  • Auto on/off dusk-to-dawn sensor
  • No batteries or extra wiring

Cons

  • Requires side-mounted outlet screws
  • Provides only low-level illumination
  • Fits standard single-gang only

VerdictA simple, compact replacement for plug-in night lights that preserves both receptacles while delivering subtle, automatic illumination. The set includes two snap-on cover plates sized for standard single-gang duplex outlets, built from flame-retardant plastic with an integrated LED module and light sensor. Installation requires no batteries or extra wiring — just swap your existing cover and confi
