Washable Plush Guinea Pig Tunnel Hideout with Curtains
Product description
What’s included: one assembled tunnel and a matching floor mat. Assembled tunnel dimensions measure 11.8 × 7.9 × 7 in, and the mat is 11.8 × 7.5 in. The set is intended for small animals and is not suitable for larger pets such as cats.
Construction and materials: The exterior is made from imitation soft fabric and the interior is filled with elastic sponge to create a cushioned, warm surface. There are curtains at both openings to provide darker, sheltered spaces where guinea pigs can relax. Iron wire frames are fitted into both ends to help the tunnel hold its shape.
Care and use: The wire supports are removable, allowing the fabric shell and mat to be machine washed once the wires are taken out. After cleaning and drying, the pieces can be reassembled for reuse. The curtained openings encourage hiding and natural exploratory behavior, and the unit fits inside typical small animal cages as a play and resting spot. Frequent washing may eventually affect the internal pad’s shape, so occasional replacement of the mat is worth considering for long-term use.
Pros
- Removable wire ends for machine washing
- Soft faux-fur exterior with cushioned interior
- Curtained openings provide dark hiding spots
Cons
- Floor pad can deform after repeated washes
- Not designed for larger pets like cats
- Inner padding lacks an easy-access zipper
VerdictThis soft, curtained tunnel gives small pets a snug retreat and a place to play. The removable wire ends and washable construction make upkeep straightforward, while the cushioned mat adds comfort. Expect occasional pad wear with heavy washing, but overall it’s a cozy, practical addition to a guinea pig’s cage.

Instant Favorite with My Pigs
My pigs took to it immediately. I put it in their enclosure and they now nap inside all the time. It’s roomy, seems well made, and watching them peek out is adorable. Would purchase again.

I Replace Them Regularly
My guinea pigs love these so much I buy new ones throughout the year. They’re washed often and eventual replacement makes sense given constant use. They practically live in it.

Loved It, Then Cushion Failed
My pig adored it at first, but after several washes the cushion fell apart and the outer zipper stopped closing. Still a great concept but the pad durability was disappointing.

Great Hideout, One Caveat
They use it a lot and it’s super soft. The downside is the floor pad can lose shape after washing, so I keep a spare mat on hand. Otherwise it’s easy to clean and the pets barely nibble the flaps.

Jack's Go-To Refuge
My guinea pig Jack sprints and cuddles inside whenever he’s startled. He loves it.

Durable and Right Size
Nice hide that fits my pig perfectly. He chews the sides but it holds up well. I plan to get another one.

Adorable and Cozy, Minor Pad Problem
Very cute and comfortable for my guinea pig. It was straightforward to assemble after a minute of figuring it out. The only snag is the inner padding can clump when machine dried and there’s no zipper to remove it easily. Hand washing and air drying then quick tumble can help restore softness.

Kipper's Favorite Bed
Kipper prefers this to every other bed he’s had. He plays in it, we interact with it, and it hasn’t needed cleaning yet. It stays cool enough and seems durable—highly recommend and five stars from us.
