The SC204 retainer cleaner uses a dynamic ultrasonic sweep operating between 42 and 48 kHz. Rather than a single fixed frequency, the unit cycles through frequencies during operation to spread cavitation energy across more of the item’s surface. That broad ultrasonic action helps lift deposits, stains and buildup from retainers, aligners, dentures, mouth guards, toothbrush heads and small jewelry items while remaining gentle on the materials.
Built into the lid are four UV lamps that expose the contents to germ-reducing light during operation. When used together with the ultrasonic sweep, the device provides two complementary cleaning actions — mechanical cavitation from ultrasound and UV exposure to address contaminants not visible to the eye.
Operation is simple: three one-touch settings let you choose between a 5-minute quick cycle (ultrasonic + UV), a 10-minute deep cycle (ultrasonic + UV) and a 10-minute UV-only cycle. The clear circular window on the lid lets you watch the cleaning process without opening the pod.
The tank holds 200 ml of liquid, keeping the unit compact and easy to store on a bathroom or kitchen counter. The base is fitted with vibration-dampening pads to reduce movement and keep noise below 45 decibels, making it discreet during use. The pod is intended for household use and for cleaning small dental appliances and jewelry.
Each package includes a pair of precision tweezers for retrieving items and a soft microfiber cloth for finishing touches. To use, fill the tank with water (optionally add a small amount of approved cleaning solution), place the item in the tray, close the lid and select the desired mode. For heavy soiling, a short pre-rinse or light brushing may improve results.

Handy for jewelry and quick touch-ups
This little unit brightens my rings with ease. I run warm water and a drop of dish soap, then give a quick scrub afterward and they sparkle. I bought it mainly for my daughter’s retainer and it’s decent, though we still do some manual cleaning too. Good value for what it does.
