Sevin Garden Perimeter Insect Granules arrive as a pre-mixed granular insecticide packaged with an easy-to-use shaker applicator. The product is a dry granular formulation intended for broadcast or perimeter application around garden beds, lawns, shrubs and the foundation of structures.
The granules act by contact and provide residual protection, delivering up to three months of insect control from a single application. They are designed to work both on the surface and slightly below the soil line, helping to protect roots and low-growing crops as well as aboveground foliage. This treatment is labeled for use on ornamentals, shrubs, flowers, turf, and a wide range of edible crops.
Listed coverage includes control of more than 100 common pests such as ants, aphids, fleas, ticks and Japanese beetles, and the product is approved for use on over 175 fruits and vegetables including tomatoes, zucchini, carrots and grapes. For best results follow the recommended application rate of 1/4 to 1 pound of granules per 250 square feet, applying evenly with the included shaker and adhering to all label safety instructions.
