Premium Australian virgin charcoal: The cartridge is filled with RC 412-grade Aussie virgin charcoal rated over 1200+ IAV, providing a highly adsorptive media for removing strong odors and volatile compounds.
Deep carbon bed and dimensions: The activated carbon layer is about 38 mm thick and the canister length increases contact time for higher filtration efficiency; the unit is sized for a 6" duct connection (approx. 6" x 16" canister form factor).
Airflow-focused construction: Dual-sided galvanized steel mesh uses a round-hole pattern to enlarge open area and support maximum airflow up to 413 CFM while protecting the carbon bed from damage.
Maintenance and accessories: A removable pre-filter cloth captures roughly 99% of particulates to keep the carbon cleaner for longer. The package also contains a pair of adjustable buckle straps for quick mounting inside tents or duct runs.
Reversible flange and mounting base: Heavy-duty iron flange and base are interchangeable so the carbon canister can be reversed to promote more complete filtration and to help extend overall service life. Designed to be used with a 6-inch inline duct fan for intake or exhaust configurations.

Good odor control — humidity matters
At first I still noticed smells despite correct setup. After adjusting humidity and temperature the filter became much more effective. Build quality feels solid.

Worked briefly, then faded
Replaced an older can filter and it removed odors immediately, but the smell returned after about two days. Possibly became saturated unusually fast.

Previous brand failed after months and seemed to have very little actual carbon. This unit is noticeably heavier and longer, comes with straps, and works great so far. Had to tape the flange to my fan, but it functions well.
