Sepetrel Reinforced Deep-Rake Pool Leaf Skimmer Net
Product description
The skimmer arrives as a single deep-rake head designed to pair with a standard telescoping pool pole (pole sold separately).
Its mesh is sewn into the corners to make emptying easier and to reduce separation between net and frame. The front edge is broad and angled so you can scoop debris from the pool bottom without snagging or cutting pool liners. The frame is reinforced plastic to resist twisting and breaking during normal home use.
A large white push button on the attachment collar exists to prevent finger pinching when sliding the head onto or off of a telescoping pole; it is not intended to clamp the pole in place as a locking mechanism. The collar fits common poles around a 1-1/4" diameter (check your pole size for compatibility).
This tool is intended for routine leaf and debris removal on residential pools. It is not a replacement for heavy commercial equipment. A 90-day warranty covers dissatisfaction—contact the seller within 90 days for a refund or exchange.

Great for surface and floor debris
Lightweight but solid. The deep pocket keeps leaves from spilling back into the pool and it moves smoothly through water. Attaches securely to my pole and handles both floating debris and leaf build-up on the bottom. Made weekly cleanup much easier.

Survived five years in strong sun
Left outside in full California sun for five years and it lasted without holes until year five. That lifespan met my expectations—would have been disappointed if it lasted less. If stored indoors it would likely last much longer. Overall a solid purchase; I bought another one.

Dependable skimmer that does the job
This reinforced frame skimmer adds speed to my routine. The deep net holds a lot of leaves and small debris and it glides through water without flexing. The fine mesh catches small particles and it fits my standard pole perfectly. For the cost, build quality exceeded expectations—sturdy and reliable.

Useful but plan for 1–2 year lifespan
The skimmer is easy to use and maneuver and has decent capacity. I’ve replaced several over a few years — bought four in four years — so cost over time added up. Problems I observed: mesh tears from bottom contact, rim can crack after sun and chlorine exposure, and the pole attachment point may fail.

Excellent scoop — recommended
Good quality and has held up through half a season so far. Scoops better than previous nets I owned. The frame doesn’t deform and the thicker netting seems more durable. Built-in weight keeps it open in use and capacity is generous. Easy to use and looks good. Highly recommended.

Built like a tank — still going after two years
I’ve used this net for over two years in sun and rain and it keeps working. The mesh has a few holes now but still scoops well. One screw corroded and fell out, which made it a bit wobbly, but the head stayed attached. The opening is huge and can hold a lot — once I overloaded it and bent my pole, not the net’s fault. Left outdoors year-round and still functional. Durable overall.

Does the job on the pool floor
Works very well for removing items from the bottom of the pool.

Looks a bit fragile — hoping it lasts
Seemed somewhat delicate at first glance. I’m hopeful it will hold up over time.

Far better than a flat skimmer for big debris
Not as effective on the finest particles as a flat skimmer, but if you want to remove larger debris quickly, this is ideal. I use it most of the time.

Went from 4 stars to 5 after long use
After roughly three years it’s exceeded my expectations. Initially I worried about construction but it’s been reliable despite heavy use and harsh sun. It’s smaller than ideal for my large pool, but it’s been a real workhorse. I upgraded to pricier pro tools for my big pool, but this net remains in regular rotation and earns a five-star rating from me.

Good initial performance, some design compromises
Works well out of the box and is much cheaper than local store alternatives. The mesh is glued to the frame rather than spline-locked, which explains the lower price. It attaches to telescoping poles via holes near the pole end and has two button releases, but those are crowded close together which can be awkward when locking it on.

Excellent quality — very pleased
Excellent build quality. Exactly what I wanted and very satisfying to use. I’d rate it a 10/10.
