Perfect replacement, easy install for a non-pro
It arrived quickly and matched our old pump almost exactly; the only difference was the three-prong cord. I swapped in a heavier cord with a locking plug to match our outlet. I installed it myself at 72 years old and it’s been running perfectly.

Solid performance if you protect it through winter

Works well but lid can be stubborn
Great for my 24' above-ground pool and pairs with my D.E. filter. The pump does its job, but the strainer lid is really hard to remove—sometimes I need help. Lubricants made it worse for me; I ended up adding handle extensions on a prior unit to gain leverage.
