2-Pack Adjustable Under-Mattress Metal Bed Wedges — Mattress Elevator
Product description
This set contains two adjustable under-mattress elevators designed to lift the head portion of a mattress. Each wedge is constructed from heavy-gauge steel with reinforced welds for long-term stiffness and stability.
The wedge assembly offers four discrete height positions — 4 inches, 6 inches, 8 inches, and 10 inches — so you can select the incline that works best for reducing acid reflux, minimizing snoring, or taking pressure off the spine. The pair is sized to support queen and king mattresses and is intended to be positioned beneath the mattress near the headboard.
Unlike foam products, these metal wedges resist long-term compression and won’t flatten with repeated use. The design supports up to 250 pounds and features screw-adjusted height settings; it’s recommended to check and tighten all fasteners before each use to ensure a secure fit. Practical uses include pregnancy comfort, post-surgical recovery, GERD and reflux management, and improving breathing during sleep.
For safest performance, place the wedges on a solid surface or a frame that allows some means of stabilization. They are not designed to be used directly on a traditional box spring without testing, and beds without headboards or with highly slippery mattress covers may require additional securing to prevent movement.
Pros
- Rigid steel frame resists sagging
- Four selectable heights (4, 6, 8, 10 in)
- Two-piece set fits queen and king mattresses
Cons
- May shift on slatted or slippery frames
- Not ideal for some box spring or innerspring setups
- Localized heavy pressure can deform metal over time
VerdictA durable alternative to foam wedges: these two steel under-mattress elevators offer four distinct heights (4/6/8/10 in) and hold up to 250 lb. They’re built to remain rigid night after night, help reduce reflux and snoring, and provide a stable incline for better rest and recovery when used under a queen or king mattress. Best suited to platform-style mattresses or frames with head/foot boards; c

Didn’t help my sleep
The odor was mild, but I didn’t find my sleep improved much after using these.

Very sturdy but may need securing
Solid and adjustable — I prefer metal to foam (pet hair and wear are issues with foam). On my slatted frame the wedges slid until I fastened them with zip ties. Works best with a frame that can anchor the wedge; may not suit all box spring or innerspring combos.

Works but beware of heavy pressure
Good concept and mostly works, but if you sit hard or too close to the edge the metal can bend or snap. I bent parts back after a snap; I worry it could fail eventually with rough use.

Simple and effective
Did the job well so I didn’t need to replace my mattress. Solid support — you likely won’t be disappointed.

Noticeable improvement for reflux
Placing both wedges under the head of my queen mattress made a big difference. Far superior to wedge pillows I used before — sleep quality and reflux symptoms improved dramatically.

Saved me from nightly choking
This product stopped the nightly choking from acid reflux that I had while lying on pillows. Much safer and more comfortable — very grateful for the relief.

High quality and effective
I started lifting the head of my bed to manage reflux and chose these metal wedges over foam. They arrived sturdy, adjust easily, and have kept me sleeping more comfortably for the past week. The two-piece set worked perfectly for my queen mattress.
