The CG512A1009 is a large locking cover intended to prevent unauthorized or accidental adjustments to wall-mounted thermostats. It accommodates Honeywell models and many other brands, provided the thermostat measures no more than 8.25" wide, 5.75" high and 2.75" deep.
The enclosure is made from ultra-clear acrylic resin and comes with a molded base. The material is formulated to resist yellowing when exposed to household chemicals and UV light, keeping the display readable over time. Inside, a small shelf helps maintain clearance between the cover and the thermostat controls.
A keyed lock secures the lid to prevent tampering; keys are supplied so caretakers or authorized users can access the control when needed. Mounting requires basic tools and the unit installs quickly on most flat wall surfaces.
