Excellent Traction for Pets
These are great for dogs — still soft but the pattern gives excellent paw grip. Highly recommended if pets need help on steps.

Helped My Senior Dog Gain Confidence

Soft, Secure, and Pet-Friendly
Exactly as pictured and better than expected — my older dog was slipping on the bare wood, and these made a big difference. No chemical smell out of the package. Installation was simple: clean the step, peel the liner and press down. The backing peels off easily and can be moved during placement; once smoothed it adheres well. The textured fabric gives enough traction to stop the sliding.

Good Coverage, But Attracts Debris
Replacement was overdue and these were easy for my kids to install. No odor and they fit my steps well. We haven’t had slips with kids or pets, but they do seem to pick up more lint and debris than my previous ones. The pattern is attractive and the wood feels much safer with them on. Prep your steps by dusting and wiping for best adhesion.

Works, but Watch Color and Placement
They adhere well. On wide, slick stairs I suggest placing them nearer the edge to avoid exposed slippery areas — we experienced a few falls on the exposed parts after installing. I chose black and it shows everything; dog hair is visible and hard to remove. They’re thin rather than plush but do stay put.

Fixed My Rental's Unsafe Stairs
They stuck perfectly once I cleaned and dried each step. The backing felt less sticky by touch, but pressing them down worked. I didn’t need extra tape. They look nice, are soft, and solved the slippery-step problem in my old rental.
