Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel C-Stand with 6.9 ft Boom Arm
Product description
The stand uses a classic C-stand layout with three legs set at 120 degrees to form a low-profile turtle base. Those legs fold flat for compact storage, and non-slip rubber pads protect floors and reduce movement on smooth surfaces.
The center column is adjustable from approximately 2.4 ft (73 cm) up to 6.9 ft (210 cm). The included support/boom arm measures about 2.9 ft (88 cm), letting you place lights, mics or modifiers off-axis while keeping the stand stable.
Construction is stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance and long life. The material choice gives the stand substantial load tolerance and durability during repeated setup and breakdown.
The boom arm terminates in standard 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch threaded fittings, so it will accept most flashes, heads, camera mounts and small fixtures that use A- or T-style connections.
Package contents: 1 sandbag, 3 brackets (braces), 2 grip heads, 1 set of C-stand legs (turtle base), 1 SP-A01 style hook, 1 support/boom arm and 1 medium center column.
Pros
- Durable stainless steel construction
- Adjustable 73–210 cm column and 88 cm boom
- Includes sandbag, grip heads and clamps
Cons
- Heavier to carry than lightweight aluminum stands
- Boom length may be short for very large modifiers
- Paint/finish can scuff if bumped
VerdictA robust, corrosion-resistant C-stand that balances stability and portability. The three-leg turtle base folds flat for storage, the center column rises from about 73 cm to 210 cm, and the 88 cm boom handles most light and modifier placement tasks. Comes with useful accessories and threaded ends to accept common fixtures — a solid, flexible choice for hobbyist and pro setups alike.

Versatile and well built
Very well made and versatile — you can hang paper rolls or drape fabric from the arm and choose multiple heights to suit different setups.

Impressive and sturdy
Very impressed — solid feel, locks gear securely and adjusts with no fuss. Portable enough to move between shoots and works great with my lighting kit. Highly recommend.

Perfect for mobile headshots
I take this to all my on-location headshot sessions. Easy to set up and break down, very stable and the metal feels substantial. It extends high enough that a small step helps for final tweaks. The turtle base offers reliable steadiness; I rarely need sandbags. The air-brake-style action helps fine-tune height.

Strong but paint chips
The supports are strong and stable. My only gripe is the black finish chips off easily with small knocks.

Solid, heavy-duty option
Great C-stand — extremely stable and built to handle tough use. Easy to operate and the grip locks function as expected.

Simple, stable, reliable
Replaced a cheaper stand that failed with a softbox. This one is straightforward, stable, easy to store and simply works when you need dependable support.

Lightweight turtle-base ideal for booms
Bought this as my first C-stand. It’s a bit shorter than some stands but has the turtle base I needed to use a junior-to-baby adapter. Lighter than my heavier stands, great for boom poles and holding diffusion or reflectors while saving heavier stands for larger loads. Picked black to blend in on dark sets. Accessories are useful and the grip heads are decent.

Decent and solid
I didn’t check the height before ordering so I had to buy another, but this one is robust and does the job. Started using it right away.

Quality could be improved
I expected higher overall quality. The base feels a bit fragile, the main post is well made but the boom is short, and a few parts are hard plastic instead of metal.

Sturdy and well built for studio and field
I like these stands — they feel solid and well constructed. I use them mostly in my home studio and they performed well on a location video shoot. They give a dependable impression, though daily heavy commercial use remains to be seen.

Excellent and practical
Well built and portable thanks to the tripod-style base. Good weight and very handy for portrait work where stands must stay out of the frame.

Good value and modifiable
Couldn't justify very expensive models, and this stand fits my needs. I made a small modification to the spigot so umbrella brackets don't spin, which solved that issue. Happy with the build and plan to buy another.
