1TB Ultra-Slim Portable External Hard Drive — USB 3.0 HDD
Product description
The updated enclosure blends a glossy logo strip with textured non-slip ridges and rounded corners for a comfortable grip. Those ridges also act as passive vents to help dissipate heat during extended transfers.
Inside, the drive uses a JMicron 578-based board designed to run quietly, making it suitable for office or home use. The HDD chip itself is wrapped in an aluminum anti-interference layer that improves thermal conduction and provides an extra layer of data protection.
This model is ultra-thin and lightweight so it easily slips into a pocket or bag. It supports USB 3.0 and is backward compatible with USB 2.0, offering theoretical peak read speeds up to 125MB/s and write speeds up to 103MB/s under optimal conditions.
Setup is straightforward — true plug-and-play with no additional software required. It draws power from the USB bus and does not need an external adapter, which makes it convenient for travel and multi-device use.
What’s included: 1 x Portable Hard Drive (1TB), 1 x USB 3.0 cable, 1 x User Manual, gift-style shell packaging, plus a three-year manufacturer’s warranty and free technical support services.

Does the job — bring an adapter
Easy setup and great for offloading photos. Includes a USB-A cable, so I needed a USB-C adapter for my machine — would be nicer if one were included.

Cable keeps disconnecting
The cable repeatedly disconnects and reconnects on my laptop. It’s been stationary on my desk, so the behavior was unexpected and frustrating.

Less usable space than expected
Out of the box it showed only 149GB usable where I expected more. Losing that much space felt like a significant discrepancy; considering returning it.
