5-Piece Artist Painting Knife Set — Stainless Steel Palette Knives
Product description
What’s included: 5 painting knives in assorted blade shapes, packaged together for immediate use.
Materials and construction: Each blade is made from stainless steel for toughness and resistance to solvents and pigment staining. The blades connect to the handle via a slightly curved metal shank that elevates the hand from the working surface and helps reduce accidental smudging.
Handles: The handles are finished in a warm red-brown tone and shaped for a comfortable grip. They are designed to sit naturally in the hand so you can work with control during mixing, spreading and scraping.
Care and cleaning: Stainless steel construction makes cleanup straightforward — most media wipe or rinse from the blades without prolonged soaking. Regular wiping after use keeps edges ready for the next session.
Intended use: Suitable for oil, acrylic and canvas work. Use them to mix colors on the palette, apply and level paint, create ridged textures, scrape back layers, or cover large surfaces for murals and stage backdrops.
Key features:
1) Stainless steel blades with good spring and corrosion resistance for long-term use.
2) Curved shank between blade and handle to keep fingers away from wet paint and to secure the blade connection.
3) Ergonomic red-brown handles for comfortable handling and improved control.
4) Easy-to-clean surfaces ideal for mixing, spreading, layering, scratching and broad coverage work.
5) A versatile kit for different painting styles — each knife shape enables distinct marks and techniques.

Plastic handles, but an ok product
I only wanted the smallest knife but the set was more economical. They mix and hold paint well and are stiffer than my old plastic knife. They scrape paint cleanly and keep their shape. Handles turned out to be plastic rather than wood as pictured, which likely explains the lower cost.
