3-Quart Stainless Steel Soup Pot with Tempered Glass Lid — Heavy-Duty Stock Pot
Product description
3 QUART CAPACITY: This stainless steel cooking pot holds 3 quarts and includes a tempered glass lid. It’s sized for tasks like boiling eggs, cooking pasta, simmering stocks and soups, and preparing sauces — a practical choice for everyday home cooking.
ERGONOMIC HANDLES & FINISH: The pot has stainless steel ergonomic handles that stay comfortable when lifting and stirring. The exterior is mirror-polished for a bright look while the interior is matte-polished for easy cooking and cleanup.
FOOD-GRADE MATERIALS & DIMENSIONS: Constructed from 18/8 food-grade stainless steel that’s non-reactive and safe for cooking. The pot features an impact-bonded base 0.165" thick for even heat distribution. Overall dimensions measure approximately 11.02" x 7.09" x 4.6".
TEMPERED GLASS LID: A see-through tempered glass lid with a small vent hole is included so you can monitor food without lifting the cover. The lid allows steam to escape; the cookware itself tolerates up to about 500°F (the glass lid has a lower limit).
COOKTOP COMPATIBILITY & CARE: The heavy-duty stainless pot is suitable for electric, gas, induction, ceramic, hot plate and halogen cooktops. While the pot is technically dishwasher-safe, hand washing is recommended to maintain the stainless finish.
Pros
- Durable 18/8 food-grade stainless steel construction
- Impact-bonded 0.165" base promotes even heating
- Tempered glass lid with vent; induction compatible
Cons
- Tempered glass lid has lower temperature limits
- Hand washing recommended to preserve shine
- 3-quart size may be small for very large batches
VerdictSolidly built small stock pot that handles boiling, simmering and sauce-making with even heat from its impact-bonded base. The tempered glass lid with vent helps control steam and the ergonomic stainless handles make transfers easy. Ideal for everyday home use, though larger households may want a bigger size.

Exactly the right size for daily cooking
I rarely write reviews, but this pot earns one. It's the ideal size I struggled to find. After almost a year of near-daily use for mac and cheese, pasta and veggies, it still looks great. The lack of a long handle makes storage easier. I’ll buy a second.

Solid choice for induction cooking
I needed a new stockpot for my induction stove and this 19-quart model (same line) is solid and well-made. Induction-ready and durable, it performs as expected.

Perfect on my portable induction plate
This stockpot looks great and works flawlessly on induction. After six months of regular use the exterior is still shiny and the interior cleans easily without burning. It arrived well packed and the glass lid fits snugly with a vent hole. It’s just the right size to make 4+ quarts of soup or stock for eating and freezing. I like it and would recommend it.

Well-designed with practical features
Exactly what I wanted: large enough for fewer daily cooks, 18/8 stainless for rust resistance, transparent lid to watch boiling, a 23 cm bottom for consistent contact, oval interior to avoid trapped food, and sealed handle joints. I already made my first soup.

Sturdy, versatile and tastes better than nonstick
I can cook so many things in this pot — it’s very durable and the capacity is excellent. I own a larger 19 qt for community meals but use this often to freeze soups and stews. After several uses it's easy to clean; stubborn chili residue lifted with baking soda and vinegar. I used nonstick for years and worried about coatings. As a cancer survivor, I feel better using stainless, and my food seems to taste better. The rounded bottom and balanced heft make it easy to handle. Love it and will buy again.

Bigger capacity avoids overflow messes
My old 8 qt was always too full when making stews. This larger stainless model looks fantastic and gives room to spare. Instructions recommend avoiding high heat to prevent warping, which is fine for long cooks. It comes with a glass lid so you don’t need to keep lifting it.
